Paramount Youth Commission member Andrea Perez led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance at the Aug. 3 City Council meeting. The Commission provides a voice for local high school students to express their concerns, learn about available programs, share information about the City with their friends, and foster a sense of community spirit.
First formed in 2018, the Commission has 16 volunteer members who are enrolled at Paramount High or are Paramount residents that attend non-Paramount Unified School District high schools.
