Schools to Watch – Alondra and Jackson

The City Council congratulated Alondra and Jackson Middle Schools at its April 25 meeting for being re-designated as “Schools to Watch.” The Schools to Watch program is sponsored by the California Department of Education and the California League of Educators. Those recognized are high-performing middle schools that demonstrate academic excellence, social equity, and responsiveness to the needs of young adolescents.
