Southern California Gas is temporarily suspending service disconnects for customers who are having a hard time paying their bills. And while Gov. Gavin Newsom has issued an executive order restricting water shutoffs to homes and small businesses for consumers who may not be able to pay for their water service due to COVID-19-related issues, the Paramount Water Company has for the last several weeks temporarily suspended water turn-offs and waived late payment fees.
