PHIT, or Paramount High Intensity Training, is going strong, now taking place twice a week, Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. and Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. The free workout course is at Paramount Park, 14400 Paramount Blvd. for Paramount residents 16 or older, no registration needed. In light of July being Park and Recreation Month, the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Marc Razzouk, PHIT instructor, and Maria Duran, an active program participant, at the July 12 Paramount City Council meeting.
