Congratulations to Paramount resident Pat Winiecki for coming in eighth out of more than 200 runners in the 10K Road Race that was the opening event of the recent 2023 National Senior Games.
All runners ranged in age from 50 to 86.
Pat and husband Ken have long been devoted to physical fitness and healthy living. They lead the Road Runners Walking Club in Paramount Park for seniors. Pat serves on the Senior Services Commission, where she offers ideas on how to improve life for these members of our community.
