At the April 28 City Council meeting, Gael Baltazar Bakulich, a fifth-grade student from Keppel Elementary School, and Sofia Florian Solorzano, a 5th grade student from Tanner Elementary School, were both honored as Student Mayors for the Day. This program is a partnership between the City and the Paramount Unified School District which recognizes exemplary students.
