The next stakeholder meeting for the West Santa Ana Branch Transit Corridor Project will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 9, in Paramount. The project is “a new 19-mile light rail transit line that will connect southeast Los Angeles County to downtown Los Angeles,” according to a press release issued by Arellano Associates, the project’s PR firm.
” Metro staff will be available at the open house to answer questions on a one-on-one basis and review displayed maps. There will be Spanish interpreters.
Metro will hold another round of community meetings to keep the public informed later this fall. To learn more, visit metro.net/wsab,” according to a statement recently issued by the city of Paramount.
“Information will be provided on the alignment and stations being proposed in Paramount and team members will be available to answer questions. Your input is important as the environmental process continues for this project,” according to Arellano Associates.
