PHS footballers place second for fifth straight week in CIF poll

The Paramount High School Pirates varsity football team remains in second place for the fifth consecutive week, according to the Oct. 28 CIF Southern Section Dvision 4 poll of 11-man football teams.
Camarillo also held its position for the fifth straight week.
Unfortunately for Paramount, Carmillo holds the no. 1 position.
Paramount decimated Dominguez (Compton) High 50-zero on Oct. 25. The Paramount season record is 8-1. The conference record is 4-0.
Last year, the Pirates reached the quarter-finals.
