The city’s annual Halloween Festival will once again provide a free, fun, safe, and spooky good time at Paramount Park on Thursday, October 31.
The festival starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m., although the preschool area will open at 5 p.m.
Costume contests, by different age categories, start at 6:30 p.m. There will be a “slime station,” an inflatable zone ($5 for unlimited use), family-friendly maze, an assortment of games, food for purchase, and more.
Plus, the City will give away lots and lots of candy.
The Festival’s fright-night of fun has offered parents and youngsters a supervised environment full of activities and goodies for decades. There’s always a big crowd and lots of excitement at the ghoulish gathering.
This year will once again feature the “Haunted House” inside the Paramount Park Community Center that will be open two nights, Wednesday, Oct. 30, and Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $3 or two for $5, with pre-sale tickets available at all STAR afterschool sites in Paramount Unified. Proceeds will go to the Paramount Education Partnership’s college scholarship fund.
