May was declared National Mental Health Awareness Month by the City Council at its May 9 meeting. This year’s message was “More than Enough,” celebrating the inherent value we all hold, no matter one’s diagnosis, appearance, background, or ability. The City Council recognized the work that Community Family Guidance Center does in Paramount helping children and families heal from emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues.
