At the July 8 City Council meeting, Shirley Grason, chair of the Parks and Recreation Commission, accepted the official proclamation recognizing Parks and Recreation Month. The city remains committed to fostering a community where everyone feels safe, valued, and encouraged to enjoy the outdoors. As part of that commitment, the City Council is excited to announce the reopening of Dills Park on August 9. The revitalized park will feature new fitness stations, expanded parking, refreshed walking trails, and a brand-new community orchard offering something for everyone to enjoy.
