The Paramount Pirates Football team looked to play Carson High School in a mon-league game Thursday, Sept. 9. The game was inevitably cancelled due to COVID-19 protocols after an unidentified Paramount High School football team member contracted COVID-19. “There was a COVID exposure, we don’t have any football players that are able to play due to so many of the players being exposed and out of an abundance of caution they had to cancel the game,” said former Athletic Director Rachel Dominguez.
