The Paramount City Council proclaimed February as National Children’s Dental Health Month at its February 5 meeting. The observance brings together professionals, healthcare providers, and educators to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers, and others. This year’s slogan is “Brush and clean in between to build a healthy smile.” The Council also recognized the Children’s Dental Health Clinic, a non-profit organization that provides quality dental care and oral health education to children and young adults through the age of 21 in the community who may have issues with access to care.
