The Paramount City Council proclaimed March as National Women’s History Month at its March 5 meeting. The Paramount Women’s Club was also recognized and given the History Month proclamation. The Club has promoted education, health, and civic involvement in the community by volunteering at the library, helping families and children during the holidays, offering scholarships to local students, and more since 1926. Members joined the Council for the presentation.
