The Paramount High School Pirates varsity football team held it’s position in second place on the Sept. 30 CIF Southern Section poll of 11-man football.
The hometown team’s position had not changed since the previous poll. Camarillo held the top spot on the list for the second-seek in a row. The Pirates now have a 4-1 season-to-date overall record. However, none of those games were league games.
On Sept. 27, the Pirates defeated Venice by a score of 49-12. Venice scored zero points during the first half.
