The Paramount Cleanup, held in place of the city’s annual “Pitch-In Paramount,” was a collaborative effort between Caltrans, Senator Lena A. Gonzalez, Assemblymember José Luis Solache, Jr., the California Contract Cities Association, and the City of Paramount. The initiative aimed to help beautify the community with volunteers focusing on cleaning the 105 Freeway exit ramp at Garfield Avenue and Somerset Ranch Road.
