At the July 14 City Council meeting, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were honored with the Life Saving Award for their heroic actions on Jan. 15. Responding to a call about an unresponsive individual, they administered Narcan and performed CPR, ultimately saving the person’s life and giving them a second chance.
