Deputy Alfonso Esqueda – part of Paramount’s public safety team for the last 15 years as a patrol deputy, special assignment deputy, and leader of the special assignment team – was recognized at the August 7 City Council meeting for his longtime service. Deputy Esqueda has been promoted to sergeant and reassigned to another Sheriff’s Station. During this time in Paramount he became a respected member of the community and connected on a human level with residents.
