The City of Paramount partnered with local non-profit A World with Compassion and the Paramount Care Foundation to hold a food distribution event on Saturday, May 9 to help residents who have lost their jobs or are otherwise struggling economically due to COVID-19. All of the food was distributed at the drive-up event. Special thanks to A World with Compassion, Paramount Care Foundation, Bianchi Theatres/Swap Meet for providing the space, and Assemblymember Anthony Rendon’s office for donating funds.
